Hmmm 10th not too shabby Time for some choppy n changey methinks Week 5 points - 68 Baines as captain definitely helped!!
The real burning question is whether RVP will play...? Rooney's been a monster of late so I'm tempted to put him in anyway.
I'm not quite sure whether it was a sound plan or not but as I was planning on taking Bony out anyway, I decided to swap him out instead of Benteke and that way I don't have to buy Benteke back again when he's fit. There seems to be a difference between buying and selling prices so you lose money wif you sell someone and buy them again
I don't think that's right, is it? I thought the price variations were just because a player's value fluctuates throughout the season depending on how well they're performing...
Classic 442 this weekend , need saints to keep a clean sheet and Lambert to start scoring. They play Palace at home so doable but too easy on paper for it to happen!
One tactic I've seen work in this ff is to buy when a player is off form and sell when on form as you make money. The prices fluctuate on form/injury like WY said but I think there is a small discrepancy to sell and then buy back immediately. You can get your squad value up really high, like £120m at which point you start to be able to afford all the best players. I haven't got the hang of it yet
Hi guys, time for my weekly visit I had an absolutely shocking week last week, so panicked and wildcard-ed it... Now have... Boruc Begovic Baines Walker Vidic Wilson Rosenior Eriksen Ozil Arnautovic Brady Kasami Rooney Lukaku Suarez What do you think of that? Also, Walker and Eriksen, or Vertonghen and Paulinho!? Hmm...
Walker and Eriksen for me. Walker gets forward more than Vertonghen and will get some assists. Defensively it doesn't matter in FF, as they get points for the collective effort? Eriksen will create and score loads this year based on what I've seen so far. Although Paulinho gets forward a lot and has scored a couple so far, longer term Eriksen for me.
I went for Walker and Eriksen in my team. It's hard to chose between Vertonghen and Walker as they'll get most of their points from cleansheets but whilst Walker probably will pick up a few more yellow cards, he does get forward a lot so should pick up a handfull of assists in the season. Eriksen's a tough one as whilst he's started well, I think we may find Holtby takes his place if he goes out of form a bit but I personally think he's still more likely to pick up points than Paulinho. I'm just waiting until Lamela gets some regular starts, I reckon he's going to be class for FF.
Yup, I went for Eriksen and Lukaku over Paulinho and Soldado. Seems like the right decision. I'd disagree YV I think Vertonghen will pick up far more points than Walker. He scored a fair number of goals last season, plus I think he's more likely to get the bonus points.
Resting? you mean dropped as he's another in the long line of free scoring forwards from the Dutch league that are useless!
Make the change, make the change! I just check the listings and I'm the 40th best Tottenham player overall .......I'll stop boasting
