I'm just saying stick that the rider gave him a tender ride which is what I would have expected if he needed the run and especially first run since injury. If he was my horse I would be praising the jockey for that ride. Is it just one more run to qualify for handicaps? Main thing is that he comes out of the race OK.
One more run for a handicap mark Ron but I think he is too good to mess about with silly games like that. He can win a maiden judging from what we saw yesterday and what we know about him. The news this morning was that he ate up last night and is none the worse for his exertions. The race will have done him no end of good. A few things to work on, sharpening his act up from the gate will be one. Looking to have him out again in about three weeks if we can find a suitable race. Kempton maybe if they have the right race for him. See how he is between now and then but we would expect him to come on a reasonable amount. Whatever the "plan" is we will let the forum know when to empty the wheelbarrows.
