Enjoy fontwell tomorrow stick hope longsdon finds some form and harristown comes home safe and maybe even wins for you bud
VANITEUX 4/1 No messing tomorrow, I think Vaniteux is smart, got on an upwards curve last spring when pleasing Henderson enough to go for the Supreme Novice and finish 3rd. Got up the hill fine, Josses Hill is really nice and Vautour hurdled like a Champion that day. I think a mark of 147 looks bloody fair given that Vautour looked top class and that I think Josses Hill will be a leading Arkle contender. You look at the horses he is giving weight to, a miserly 4-5lb to the likes of Roman Flight, Goodwood Mirage, and even Garde La Victoire, they aren't really top level. Only one horse might beat him IMO and that is Clondaw Court who is on a ridiculous low weight. If Vaniteux puts a performance in that I think he might be capable of, circa 150+, they'll have to go some.
Another top day yesterday and hoping for more of the same today albeit it shorter prices 1.00 Saphir River 1.35 Commissioned - ran in the top juvenile races of last year and his 2nd behind Activial on soft ground has thrown up plenty of winners. 2.10 Vibrato Valtat - Looked a class act on Chase debut winning extremely comfortable with Twisters barely flexing a muscle. Trainer and jockey in form. 2.40 Dodging Bullets - 4th in the Arkle has course form, same comment about trainer as above and feel the favourite's drop back in trip a huge negative. Acts on the ground also. 3.15 Goodwood Mirage - Plenty of money for him for the Fred Winter but brought down at the 2nd. Reappeared on same mark at Wetherby and won more comfortably than margin would show, form of that race looks good also. 3.50 Definitly Red - Top british placed horse in the Champion bumper in march and carries a 4lb penalty here but the form looks absolutely solid and cant be having the favourite at that price.
Morning All. Today's lucky 15 all @ Cheltenham. 1-35.Emerging Talent (Nap) 2-10.Vibrato Valtat. 2-40.Dodging Bullets. 3-15.Vaniteux. Good luck to all.
Hello everyone, top day at Cheltenham yesterday; I even managed to get on TV accidentally by standing "behind" the female before the PP. Lots of fancies today; Jezki Emerging Talent Uxizandre Birch Hill Djovick Good Luck all..
1:00 Cheltenham - Join The Clan 33/1 EW 1:15 Fontwell - Edeiffs Lad 40/1 EW 3:15 Cheltenham - Olofi 20/1 EW 4:00 Fontwell - Zero Visibility 4/1 WIN
Bredon hill lad in the first at fontwell should have enough to see off sweet boy vic, I was lucky enough to getslightly better odds yesterday but just from a market watching point of view bredon has aquired the fav slot over night. I did take a very small rf when the odds were better as I cant see these two out of the frame.
16:00 Fontwell - Zero Visibility (Interesting to see that this horse is only 4/1 best price at the moment. Probably because quite a few in this race have question marks against them? Haven't a clue about trainer/jockey Mrs Alexandra Dunn, and form since May in the UK is pretty awful, but on earlier P2P form in Ireland this year, must have some sort of chance? On breeding, for example, it would seem suited by the prevailing heavy ground conditions? I'll probably jinx it though!). Good luck, especially to Harristown!
Southway star sould have a walk in the park here it opened at 11/10 unbelievably and is now realistically what it should have opened at 2/5
Good stuff UC Now, will Cheltenham be able to get their novice chase off on time so we can all switch to the Morgiana in good time?
