Frustrating outcome in that Typical Oscar was only beaten half a length and finished 32 lengths in front of the 3rd home! There was some rain that changed the going from 'good to firm' to 'good' but had there been a significant amount and the word âsoftâ appeared in the going descriptor I think we would have seen a totally different outcome. Still Iâll stop being a âMoaning Minnieâ and say Typical Oscar remains very much one to follow and should stay in any notebook. Hopefully next time he will get to race on much softer sod. After yesterday will probably go up a few pounds. 5 pounds, or thereabouts, perhaps???
