Pretty disappointed with Champagne West's jumping display there, he beat a good horse and showed a great turn of foot after whallopping a few of the fences. But there was no fluency and there will be no room for mistakes come March.
The Bowen yard are backing their horse FLYING EAGLE like its their Christmas special and Timeform Jury have tipped up HERES HERBIE so that is getting ploughed into. These two factors are forcing the price out. Nothing has changed regarding our boy. The yard are telling us that he is in tip top condition and we are still of the feeling that he will win. Having some more on at 9's but not as much as last night for obvious reasons! We shall see, fingers crossed!
