With all the jockey comings-and-goings at Ditcheat it's really nice to see the owners keep faith with Noel Fehily <applause>

    Great performance and ride.

What is becoming glaringly obvious these days is that there are few top, top level race readers.

Walsh, Fehily, Geraghty are who you want.

I can't remember anyone worse than Jacob at the moment- he cannot get an ounce of a tune from Cue Card. Embarrassing.

Twister tried to coax Al Ferof into it but he ran on too late again. Hope he runs in a Gold Cup and that they eek out the stamina.

    Conti was brilliant.

The weather was horrific at leoprardstown and Townend is a poor jockey so I would not lose fate in vautour and kalikar. In fact it might push their price out for Cheltenham.

Won't disagree with Nick in Silviniaco Conti travelled beautifully and jumped wonderfully to win the King George. Will he gain compensation for falling in 2013 Cheltenham Gold Cup when he looked to have a great chance of winning. Dynaste ran on well to finish second, a good each way bet for the Gold Cup? Champagne Fever faded in the home straight so I guess connections dare not risk running him in the Gold Cup.

He's one of the best jockeys around. Paul Nicholls made a mistake in not making him no. 1 stable jockey this season.

Tiny little dabble on William Henry for Mr Henderson and the 11th richest man in Wales in the Wincanton bumper

What a shocker from Barry G in that last at Kempton, I was begging for him to ask the horse and yet he held and held only to gain hand over fist and go down half a length. What was such a good jockey sitting on so much horse for only to leave it too late, if they had brains.

Agreed Blue, took more pulls than me as a 14-yr old with my first porn mag. Should've know the Pipe horse would find some and left it unfortunately just a little late.

That is very hard to believe. I bet you had that mag more than six minutes – unless you got caught by the teacher and he confiscated it!

It wasn't for a fortune Odds but was a four timer which would have been nice enough. I am always quite balanced about the game and accept fallers and the like, even getting boxed in but to watch your jockey sitting there knowing if he presses now he makes sure but seeing him wait and close 4 3/4 of 5 lengths because he out thought himself for no reason at all. There is just no need, the horse was backed from 8's to 4's so some will have lost much bigger sums than I, I hope they will let Barry G know exactly what a shocker he rode. I know some do not like McCoy and may consider him having less finesse than the likes of BG, you would never however see AP providing a horse with such a terribly poor ride, he does not get beat through such silliness.

Well done on Conti lads proper stayer. Fever probably travelled too well the whole way, a drop back in trip no doubt.

Watched Faugheen's replay back. Don't think The New One will live with that. So much class and don't forget that was only his second start of the season and hes beat them silly. You'd imagine there's more improvement there.

    Now what happened Vautour?!!!

Not bad that - should have had return from the last leg and the EW wold have had a good chance if Saphir had stood up, although would have had to be a huge performance to beat Congeree who I thought was very impressive.

lotta jockey bashing going on today I see. Whilst I agree that Fehily was once again masterful on Siviiaco Conti, it also looked to me like Jacob and Twister both gave their mounts every chance. Criticism unjustified imo.

I watched the race Beefy but I honestly couldn't tell you - why do they only send about 3 cameras to cover the whole track on Irish racing? You see more shots of the horses arses than anything else and Leopardstown is crying out for another camera down the back straight. Looked fecking awful conditions there today, I think stamina won the day, Vautour looked out on his feet after that error and agree with the earlier comments that he may have pulled a muscle. I was surprised that Townend didn't pull him up TBH.

Pretty sure that ATR takes the blame there.

If you were to see Irish racing on RTE, you can hear the crowd AND see the horses.

<laugh> But seriously, ATR is crap.

AL FEROF:"I've just had a word with John (Hales, owner) and he is happy for me to point him at the two-miler at Cheltenham. He just ran out of stamina today and we know he possesses all the toe in the world."

I totally disagree with that, but there's an update for the Champion Chase betting.

Donct - you're better off posting on a more relevant thread to get some answers.
