Surely the idea of a discussion forum is that you're not going to agree with everyone on here. I find some of the excessive swearing and the same tired old put downs a a bit wearing (not that it's that bad of course) but other than that it's sound enough on here.
This forum is doing what it's predecessor (SPN) did. It goes in cycles of people arguing over utter ****e, WUMS, multiple user account abuse, people screaming and greeting about over/under moderation, and all the way to complete and utter ****in meltdowns. Then it settles down for a bit before it all kicks off again. SPN had some cracking all out meltdowns. Ah, the memories. *wipes tear from corner of eye*
And he's comes the brainwashing ****. That's more than two years of my life I've wasted on here and SPN now.

For those that don't know the history. Mick and a small but merry band of brothers left 606 and started SPN in 2007/2008 (I canny remember exactly). It enjoyed a tumultuous life leading finally to the HigginsGate Scandal. A schism between the two resulting factions (the trolls and the get-along-gang) resulted in a new and seperate forum being set up by the getalongers and SPN continued on it's way until reinventing itself as not606. I think that's it in a nutshell. Some of the others can (and probably will) correct/add the details.
