Sometimes I doubt it on the General Chat. I do go on the United board as well which is a lot better but this place seems to be nothing more than a free for all.
Ok...I didn't know how old this was I thought this was made when 606 was getting closed, thats how I heard about it and someone posted it saying it was setup for the closure of 606
The only difference now is that the older members have more people to take the pish out of now. I haven't seen a helicopter crash, a picture of a moth or any mention of Edmonds in a while.

There's an easy answer to your problem, ER. I honestly don't see any difference between you and the faction you're clearly referring to, but then I'm pretty neutral. I can't remember this place being exactly the cloistered halls of academe you seem to be alluding to but then I've only been a member for a year or so, and for most of that I stayed away in fear of being fired should some of the choicer threads be found on my history. Maybe it was all tweed jackets, elbow patches and pipe smoking before I joined. Who knows.
At least the majority of posters don't call you a twat if you disagree with them and KPR has been banned from the United board and at least when Nohlman posts his drivel it is treated as a bit of banter.

I agree with you, StereoTypist and his mates are possibly the most immature people i've ever had the misfortune of talking to, having said that you can still have serious debates i think, the Liverpool board is pretty good imo.
