Thanks Stick - will do once I get the hang of it haha. Bit of a technophobe - anyway still look on here every day without fail but don't always post - must say though some cracking picks this week - the double from the "varian stable insider ?" and yours today plus Uncle always puts up some cracking value as well. U must be in heaven this weekend mate - 2 Derby games on the telly plus the Ryder cup for the next 2 days !!
Confident ? Not think she's gone to the well once too often this year ? if not 11/10 looks like printing dosh !
She is going to the well twice more this year if I am to be a happy bunny. In a canter tomorrow then off to the L'Abbaye!
Good enough for me - empty the kids piggy banks and lump on haha ! Went to the Arc meeting in 2001 with me dads racing club - fantastic meeting and weekend. Hope she finishes the season with 2 wins now - fingers crossed
Tiggy Wiggy is as tough and honest as they come but I just wonder if she is a 2yo wonder in which case something special could get the better of her towards the end of a hard season. I very much like the look of Tendu. By Oasis Dream out of Arabesque who is by Zafonic out of a Warning mare. No form to match Tiggy Wiggy but if I were betting I would be on her at 15/2 and also have Tiggy Wiggy to ensure a small profit if she runs up to form and wins.

On Friday, John Gosden had the first two favourites at Newmarket when betting opened and both were turned over by Haggas’ horses – although Buick was to blame for Belle D’Or arriving a short head too late – and he then went and won with gambled-on Nabucco where Windshear did nothing to advertise the St Leger form against less than top notch elders. So should we be contemplating Cornrow in the Cambridgeshire with the ante post handicap good thing balloted out? I may be giving that a miss when I see the odds closer to race time. He disappointed last time but seems quite adaptable and is no forlorn hope off the same mark. There are two or three in the race that owe me money, so I will not be surprised if one of them wins. The supporting two year old races make little appeal in what has not been a great season for juveniles to date. The small field for the Royal Lodge means no guarantee of pace but if Nafaqa settles, he could make his own running if required. No need to mention Tiggy Wiggy in the Cheveley Park as she will be mentioned everywhere but no chance of getting rich there at the likely skinny odds either. Looking for something at decent odds leads me to the last race at Ripon, where Bondi Beach Boy has a six pound penalty for winning on Thursday and can complete a hat-trick in a race where few of the others are in form.
Of the top trainers Haggas has a far higher strike rate than any other and he's basically winning 1 out of every 4 he runs: look it up. He's a fine trainer who doesn't get the accolades he desrves, but as he's a Yorkshireman he'd see that as par for the course. His strike rate and thus placing of horses is similar to Cecil's in the 70s and 80s. For me a very sporting yankee today Mustard Kinematic Shama Fiery Sunset they've all got a bit to prove.
Glee to have a good day at Ripon picks up some nice rides for Davy O with Danny booked at Haydock James Rev has 2 nice chances in France Good Luck Boys and as always S T A Y F R O S T Y
William hill paying 7 places in the cambridgeshire!!!!! Still makes it tough to even find an e/w one tho banchaunadjfkfkfkkdjmdk looks decent as does Fort Bastion, Barzalona coming back for Educate who bids for the double. Velox looks good, Pat Smullen on Fahey's Kaka. Ah **** knows im going back to bed
2:30 Chester - Baby Strange 12/1 2:45 Ripon - Diamond Blue 8/1 3:05 Chester - Zugzwang - 9/1 3:55 Ripon - Confessional 13/2 4:10 Haydock - Counter Ridge 8/1 4:45 Haydock - Maven 8/1 5:50 Haydock - Big Baz 11/4 Just a few i've backed today in various lucky 15's/Patents etc.. Two for me in the biggie are: Fort Bastion 20/1 & Dance and Dance 33/1
Is Halling the best horse ever to win the Cambridgeshire? Won the Eclipse twice and the Juddmonte International. A fitting tribute to Toby Balding on The Morning Line. Never heard anyone criticise him. He did so much for the sport.
A very very nice place to stick your pin chan TENOR is way too big at 34s , I hope you dont mind me adding a few facts for the fellow 606ers . Tenor is Ryans best returner ot the moment with 14 runs 6 wins 3 places a massive 43%sr quite impressive then theres a very big jockey /trainer strike rate of 32% . Claimer Joe Doyle rarely has a bad race and the 5lbs he takes off here may well give the an exellent chance at a place , I would also go as far as saying Joe will be looking forward to hopping onboard tenor for the 5th time as they hold a 75%s/r together ! good luck all who play
Not had a very profitable week, thank goodness for BL's double tip.Again thanks. So today here goes; Cambridgeshire.....Bronze Angel and Maverick Wave. Hopefully Buick picked the wrong ride!! 2-00 Gregorian 2-25 Donna Graciosa 4-10 Long Awaited 5-10 Soviet Courage 5-45 Swansea Mile If things are going well then I'll have a dabble on Major Ivan in the 5-10. Good luck all.
Discay at 10/1 is a bit too big in the 2.15 AT Market Rasen so an each way bet for me. I can't abide Ferguson so for that reason alone i'd look to a little value way from the fav.
