Somewhere there is a discussion between astroturd and I in which I said Liverpool wouldn't get top 4 this season, he disagreed. I doubt there was any money involved as astro talks a big game but has very small bollox.

Astro didn't put money on anything. He was close to a bet with Tobes but they couldn't agree terms.

It was very straightforward to make the donation.

I went onto their website and tried to do it through a PayPal account I've had for years. Didn't work. So I tried to use a credit card. Didn't work. So I tried to use a debit card. Didn't work. Then I got a text saying I had to call my bank's anti fraud team immediately.

Queries as to why it registered as a potential fraudulent transaction:
1. It was a donation to charity, I wasn't buying a TV or ordering porn!
2. I've been with the bank for 20 years
3. I've had a monthly direct debit set up to the same charity for a while

I blame Rooney.

We did agree terms. One of the terms was that the bet is void if we made the EL final since I expected us to rest players in the PL. We did and we did.

Thanks. To be fair you would have to be a bit of a dick not to honour your bet especially if its going to charity. Basically all the money i won on the ff cash league went to macmillan <laugh>. More than happy though as my dad passed away with cancer 5 years ago

Well he did relegate Mainz and then nearly did the same with Dortmund....

I reckon the silly faces and the fist pumps must lose their impact after a while. As does his tactics of just round around a lot lads <ok>
