hmm, how about 'A Study of Tilke-Trap in Gold and Grey' that's poncey enough to put an extra 0 on the end.
No action to be taken for Vettels potty mouth. The law makers are seemingly happyou enough with letters of apology. http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/24...will-not-be-penalised-for-his-mexican-gp-rant
There's also a rather colourful quote from Ricciardo just after the race when he was told that he had done a "nice job" by Red Bull. The Australian was angry after a chaotic Turn One at the start of the race and Vettel's block, remember. "Yeah, but what about all these guys outbraking themselves at the first chicane?" he says. "I mean Lewis at the start and Max the same. Put a f****** wall there and they won’t do it. That's bull**** guys. F****** kindergarten stuff." (Full story - external link, in German)
He has a point. Why make the effort to turn if your competition doesn't have to and get away with it.
So, it seems like everyone had fun after the latest race! The impression I have is that the driver steward has actually made things worse, because now huge amounts of effort/time goes into trying to find the right decision. Watching live, my immediate impression was: Hamilton - ok, was not under any risk of losing the place. Verstappen/Vettel - penalty, went off track to keep the place Vettel - personally no penalty, but I can understand in current climate why it was given. I think we'd be just as well off with quick judgements and then maybe everyone could just move on because "mistakes will be made", rather than cross referencing everything trying to find (in)consistency. The added advantage is that quick judgments and swift requirements to take the penalty would have avoided the Vettel/Ricciardo situation. Well done to Nico, another chaotic potential banana skin professionally navigated,
