I think this one will be all about the engines, so expecting McLaren to do poorly. Low speed right angled corners need good traction, with that start-finish 'straight' needing the top end speed. Williams to do well?

I'm assuming Helmut isn't too happy with his engine upgrade! A 1.2 second deficit on the straight?

Multiple orifices!? Never mind the mechanics arses, what about the revised brake duct?

GP2 has christened the track with some classic safety issues.

Several drivers went down the tight escape road at Turn 15, beginning with Jordan King - who had to dodge a van parked in there as he did so.

The vehicle was moved during a subsequent VSC, which was just as well given the number of other drivers who explored the runoff there later in the session.

Who do we reckon will be the first to bin it in that tiny chicane? Tighter than a gnat's arse.

    Another Indy on its way?

Or if the tyre cuts carry on, could we see NASCAR/Indy style 'competition cautions' to enable all drivers to change tyres under safety conditions so that no one is disadvantaged or tries to gain a performance advantage at the expense of safety?

Apparently the kerbs are metal, when they're normally rubber? That seems like quite a difference.

Maybe they had to reuse all the man hole covers that were ripped up during the Monaco weekend?

How are the intervals between drivers so massive? Christ Hamilton will walk it faster at this rate.

I have a feeling this is going to be a very straight forward and boring race.
