I hope Pirelli are not going to panic too much. The tyres are getting sillier and sillier, they keep upping the pressures and then teams can't get temp, so the tyres wont work, then they wear out early or fail!!!!! Pirelli need to rethink quick.
Has Button got some new Honda bits in the back? He seems to be doing well especially considering this is a bit of a power track. Great to see McHonda fighting.
Ted Kravitz is incandescent that Mercedes might not swap Rosberg and Hamilton around through their second stops. If it wasn't so pathetic it'd be funny.
Yeah I understand that but very rare that they split strategy between drivers and chose Rosberg to pit first - strange decision.
Shocking all around - disgraceful - worse tyres, worse stop and worse strategy. I'd be pissed if I was Hamilton.
So they could have brought Hamilton in for ages at the start of the race to bring him out in front of Rosberg, but they left him out.
I just don't really get it... If Hamilton was brought in just 3 or 4 laps earlier he would have strolled to victory. Mercedes seemed to be too interested in getting Rosberg ahead of the Ferraris and used LH as bate. Poor form in my opinion.
The only reason I can think of is that Merc were hoping Lewis could do a single stop so kept him out but then Vettel had the blow out so Merc had to switch Lewis strat. You are right though, if they actually ran Lewis to the pre race plan it was a bad plan...
