Could Ferrari have the quickest car tomorrow? Fry: "Looking at the gap of around five tenths to pole, we can say that, on a high downforce track like this one, we have returned to the situation we had got used to at the start of the season." Alonso: "Today, we were more competitive thanks to a change of set-up and some modifications on the aero side, done more with the aim of getting consistency rather than pure performance. Traction and turn-in have improved"
I still think Grosjean will win, if overtaking's hard Lotus will probably be able to two stop, if overtaking is easy I think he'll have the pace. All depends on the start, hopefully he won't lose places.
In my honest opinion it will be a mixture of Germany first, followed by Canada. The Red Bulls have a very good launch system now which is as good as Ferrari's now, maybe even better. He has also used it to great effect against both Mercedes drivers over the year at the start with Bahrain being the only track he hasn't overtaken one before the first bend. Lewis at Spain: Would have nailed both at Monaco if not for short straight: Britain Rosberg: Germany Lewis: So yeah, that's a long first straight!
Sorry Silver I just can't see what you can. Spain: He did Lewis under braking, not off the line. Monaco:He beat Rosberg because his start was bad. Not sure whether he beat Lewis. Britain: He beat Rosberg because again, Rosberg's start wasn't good Germany: That was an awesome start For what it's worth, the guy starting second in Hungary doesn't usually get a good start.
Romain started 2nd last year and was still 2nd going into turn one so I doubt that, it will be equal. Jenson even had a better start then Seb last year who was on the clean side so I don' think there's much difference on track conditions on both sides. Looking at that start it seems the dirty side is better than the clean, just Alonso messed up with that painted strip in front.
For the good of the race I hope Hamilton is first after the first lap, gives Alonso and Kimi a chance. Despite not backing him for the poll I hope Romain wins tomorrow!!
I should have explained myself better. What I meant was; the guy starting second doesn't take the lead. In the last few Hungarian GP's: 2012: 2nd maintained position 2010: 2nd lost a place 2009: 2nd lost three places 2008: 2nd lost a place 2007: 2nd lost a place
Hungary often gives good starts though: The engine blowout that cost Massa the championship
The race pace is similar to Ferrari and Lotus here so I have no idea what he is talking about to be honest, the data suggests differently.
Rosberg can sometimes jump the gun. He says things that don't come to fruition and makes the team look a bit embarrassing. Today is going to be a struggle, I can see Vettel running away with it again.
Rumours going about that Alonso wants to leave Ferrari to Red Bull: http://translate.google.com/transla...nando-alonso/bietet-sich-bei-red-bull-an.html
I smell a big move happening, no wonder all this Allison talk has been hush hush! Vettel will swap with Alonso, gets that Ferrari dream he always wanted with Allison, Byrne and maybe Ross Brawn by his side.
