Sorry did we buy some points to get second, Mr Ipswich fan, or is our points tally (remind me how many points you are behind us) down to score more goals than the opposition in a number of games to therefore give us numerous 3 points during the season. Or are you Mr Ipswich fan jealous because you believe, quite wrongly like Leeds fans that because you have happened in the past to win an FA cup, appeared in european competitions and I seem to recall you won the league (once), but that was in the 1960s so it's not as if it's recent history you Ipswich fans are holding on to. Our recent history is as that Harry Enfield character would paraphrase "We've done considerably better than you), and as for being cannon fodder - before using that phrase remember that next season that phrase may well be applying to you again. Just more drivel from sad and pathetic suffolk folk. Some of them were so bias towards Hull fans leaving the ground last week. How much had we paid the ref and we are crap were 2 comments. They forget one thing. You dont become a 2nd in the championship table club after 44 games on luck. Yes Hull City have been poor of late overall but so have all the top 6. FFS. Cardiff have only won 3 of there last 11 games and they have just won the title. Put it down to jealousy. Better still, just ignore such crap.

Exactly. I mean, we are ****, but we're clearly the second best side in this division. Football is about getting results, and we've got a lot more than the majority of the Championship's other teams.
I sort of agree, except we've only been **** in the absence of aluko. And by **** I mean, we don't play like you expect of a promotion team that's been there or there abouts all season, we look very very average for most of the game but we do well limiting opposition chances and always seem to get a goal or two from nowhere when it seems like we could be playing a whole week without creating a proper decent chance. We've sunk our teeth in and bitten results out when our play hasn't particularly deserved them, but its football, with the injuries we've had it's what we've been good at, it's what we've done and its why we deserve to be where we are. Either way no matter what league we end up in, I can't wait for next season and the return of key players, hopefully this sluggish style of play will **** off for a bit.
I agree As harsh as it sounds, I think a case could be made for replacing every single first-team player and changing the formation back to 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 even if we don't go up. Obviously, if we do, we need to spend some serious cash I miss having Aluko in the side
We are **** in terms of the Premiership but are a team ready-made for the Championship, the table doesn't lie. It makes me laugh when I see all the moaning muppets saying we won't make it in the Premier League, well thats probably because we are a Championship team, anybody with half a braincell knows we will be battered week in and week out playing the team we have now in the Premiership.
Whilst in general that post is true, I hate seeing people make out like we just sit back and soak up pressure. We out-create the opposition in almost every game. I always check the stats after games and there are literally about 2 or 3 games all season where we've been statistically 'outplayed' and those are games we lost. People say we get wins which are almost undeserved yet when Watford beat us at our place they had something like 2 shots all night to our 10 and everyone praised them and said they were so much better than us.
Shots can be misleading, wayward crosses, extremely speculative long shots etc all count towards attempts. The way I judge it, when being at a match obviously, is how many 'got to score' chances we create like one on ones, or in space with clear sight of goal etc. compared to opposition. Whilst we hardly give any away, we generally create even less. But then we pop up with a goal you just can't see coming, like Brady doing a cheeky iniesta-like chip that dinks perfectly in between the centerbacks for the smallest player on the pitch to just nod in from point blank range, you couldn't make it up.
