The glorious South
Simple, between now & the end of the season, who do you think will get the most goals?

Although Billy has not got off to the best start, I think he'll turn out to be a great signing for us.

I reckon Billy will get four goals, & although Maynard has an extra game to play, well like Billy if selected, then I think it will be a similar amount, but I'm going with three. How, these players do will play a big part in where the teams finish, so I'm hoping for a hot streak from Bill.

Anyone got any outrageous predictions on the scoring front?

I have a feeling Guly might start banging a few in again soon. He's had a quiet patch, but I think he's looked sharp (no pun intended), in the last few games.

Yep it will not be too long before Sharpy gets on the score sheet. I will be like a bus wait a long time for one then 2 or 3 will come along. You wait and see........

I have absolutely no idea what Sharp will do. He's a striker and therefore he has a better chance of scoring than a defender. Although Hooiveld might have something to say about that.

I do think he may be a confidence player. I have little to back this up, but going on the way he has played for Doncaster, and the setup of their side, while he was with them, and how he talks to interviewers, and his reaction to what he expects of himself, and his belief and expectations of SFC, and his early performances, I think he's just a tad overawed at present. And yet even saying that might be too much. He's just not quite there yet.

On a lighter note, he could lose a few pounds, although stripes are so slimming, don't you think..? Especially after hoops. ;)

Actually, they have proved scientifically that hoops are more slimming than vertical stripes. That's like finding out that Magilton is no longer manager at Ipswich!

Several years ago, scientists proved that bees shouldn't be able to fly, but they do remarkably well, and often with a full cargo on board. Then of course scientists decided it might be better if they could find a way for bees to be able to fly, and they did. No doubt the bees were relieved that they were no longer grounded.

PS. Magilton no longer manager of Ipswich..? Now that really is starting to get silly.

I've never rated Nicky Maynard and don't understand the fuss abuot him, I'm sure Sharp will score more goals!

As stated Guly will go on another streak, I think Guly could well end up with 15 goals this season. Not sure how many he's got at the moment, but I think he'll pick up another 4/5. He always seems to score a load at a time, and recently as stated has looked sharp. Especially when Cork has come on, Second half against Barnsley he was brilliant.

Agree with this (2nd time today!) as long as Guly plays in the hole or up front. He never seems to get involved as much if he's played on the right.
