Why are tottenham fans so deluded? Any player looking to further there carrear is gonna go for Chelsea or Arsenal over spurs for the ability to earn more money and compete in better competitions. Please explain why a player would choose spurs instead? The only reason i can think of is if the player isn't good enough for the Chelsea or Arsenal first teams and so would be a back-up but at spurs would be first team...
with then exception of Van Persie who is class, no one else of your team would get into Spurs first team,that's how far you have fallen this season
We all know that's nonsense though don't we? We have had a couple of poor games at the start fo the season and will recover just fine to once again grab a top 4 spot like we have for the past 15 years. Spurs fans every season think they have overtaken us and every season are proven wrong. To say only RVP would get into the spurs team is ridiculous and to think spurs are the bigger and better club is ridiculous. Any player or football fan (other than spurs fans) in the world know that Arsenal are the bigger club and the more likely to succeed.
totsfan - the only players you have from your first team that would get into our first team (injuries aside) are Bale and Modric and possibly VDV.

walker superior to sagna? the kid is good, no doubt. he's shown his quality since he was at Shef Utd, but he's not in Sagna's class right now. Sandro is not superior to Song either!! I just think Sandro edges him defensively (if you look at what Arsenal need right now, it's a holding man), Ekotto is 5x the player Gibbs is and is one of the most consistant LB's around. Gervinho couldn't finish a breath mint, at least you know Theo can chip in with a goal or two and I think he plays well with RVP. Didn't want to include Bale, but he's a lot better than Arshavin AND Gervinho. You think in am ixed team it'd be the whole spurs back 4? I think not. I'd take Verm, Kosc or Mert over Gallas any day fo the week. And King is over-rated and never plays because he's broken. As for RB - that's the position after RVP which is most obvious would be taken by an Arsenal player. Sagna is amazing. He has been the best RB in the league for the last couple of seasons at least. Ekotto i rate higly and i think would be in with a shout. In the middle of the park it's gotta be Wilshere without a doubt and then it's a mix of: Modric, Song, Arteta, Sandro, VDV to grab the other two spots depending on how you want to set up. For the front 3 it's obvious RVP leads the line as he is head and shoulders above anything either team has to offer in competition for the forward spot. For Arsenal Song is encouraged to roam with Arteta or Ramsey / Rosicky filling in at DM when he roams. When he plays as a true and disciplined DM he's one of the best in the league - as Gordon Strachen has reiterated on occassion, as well as others. King if anything is under-rated. He's a fantastic defender and it's testament to this that he doesn't train all week yet turns it on when it's needed. He's a consumate professional and if he were fully fit he'd be top 3 in the Prem easily. I'd take Gervinho over Theo - he has more tricks and abilities to beat his man. I'd rather Theo came on with 25 left to a tiring defense and destroyed them. Plus Gervinho's forehead terrifies people. You can have Ekotto, I've just never really rated him that highly. The times I've seen him play he's been poor. Spurs do have some quality players, there is no denying it, but i think totsfan has been well and truely proved wrong.
King ??? you what John ? He is not even a Tottenham player, he is injured 90% of the season. Assou Ekotto ? As accident prone as Gibbs is, he is a better player than Assou Ekotto - a player who Spurs fans were booing until recently. Santos is first choice LB for Brazil.
Arsenal's defence is the worst thing about them, wouldn't want one defender anywhere near, I did forget about TV though so yes him over Gallas. King on his day is amazing. I forgot forgot Modric in mine too so him over Sandro.
