2 a game in the league, but conversely we only scored 8 goals in the first 8 matches before Maclaren departed... which as I remember had people frothing at the mouth at the time.

We are decently placed despite our failings at the back - we appear to have the beginnings of a team spirit, the new signings are predominantly positive, and when we get our **** together in defence I think we'll do ok.
 
Given the fact CR is more of a coach than a manager, you'd think he would be able to sort our defence out. Maybe he should bring in someone who can.
