Bill, have you ever in your entire life ever said anything positive about SAFC. It just seems to me your an attention seeker who loves to wallow in his own misery. Your just a sad (in yourself) man and I actually feel quite sorry for you and if I ever have to read somewhere in a post the words "in my 50 years of following Sunderland" like your the only person who has supported the club that long or the only person ever to be disapointed with previous underachievment I will have to kick my cat. You are entitled to your opinion, but what i dont like is, you do not like Bruce as our manager, so you are taking it out on the players he is signing or linked to signing, if we bought Ronaldo and Messi you still wouldnt be happy, as its not actually the players you have a gripe with, but Bruce himself. (how you can complain about Man U rejects is beyond me, like cest has already said) Its the end of the old season and nearly the start of the new, start off with a clean slate and lets see how Bruce does, if you go into the season still hating him, it doesnt matter what he does, you will still think its ****e and it will all fall apart soon enough.
O Shea, Brown and Gibson have 517 games for one of the worlds biggest football clubs. Not Swansea City or Crewe? Man Utd. They also have over 100 caps. All 3 would add to our squad and chances of progress and although I have been very critical of Bruce recently myself, when he gets the plan right I am happy to say so. He is definitely getting the plan right so far this close season IMO and doing a huge amount to win back this particular once sceptical supporter
