I think the reality has sunk in.

We are not gonna win 3 games whilst Sunderland and Newcastle lose 3.

Those hoping we could stay up know the reality is that we are now down.

Those who though we had no chance anyway now also know its confirmed and are depressed.

Everyone is uncertain about next season. Most of the squad will be gone, there might be no money, could be in the real s hit.

Who is depressed exactly? A strong word to bandy about regarding football when we all know what Rio is going through, don't you think? Reckon he's a bit depressed too!

There will be a lot of recrimination from the top down. We could start with the 10 points we've conceded after 80 mins of play according to MOTD stats.
We held on to draws / winning positions in the same way a toddler might hold on to a big dog's lead!

Do we need to bring that up on this thread there are other threads about this. Have I compared getting relegated with losing a loved one. This is something totally different I am talking about.

Your posts are becoming more bizarre by the day mate. Of course we're going to be more depressed regarding QPR. None of us knew Ferdinand's wife. I didn't even know he was married until yesterday. Its terrible for the man & his family but despite the well wishes on the RIP thread, nobody on here really gives a Monkeys. Doesn't sound nice but its the truth.

Now quit your whining Water Boy

Whoa! Sorry Mate, have to majorly disagree with you there. As the father of 4 kids and grandfather of 3, I very much care about Rio and his situation. Any human being with a shred of sympathy would feel the same. I'll agree that sometimes outpouring of grief for celebs can be disproportionate but to state no one gives a monkeys is just wrong. About to take off in plane so more in 6-8 hours.

I was Hoping we would take it on another few weeks but even if we'd won last week we would still be five points off safety. Unbelievable how everyone's started winning now. Leicester five from six ffs

no you're talking about being depressed about football. Laughable!!
Depression is a very real and horrible affliction and should not be trivialised by using it in connection with football. That's all i'm saying.

if you get depressed by what happens in football, you're the bizarre one mate! You need to get out more!!<laugh>

I think depression can be brought on by the fortunes of your football team though I'd like to think we all have enough else in our lives for that not to be the case.

Don't really see what a man losing his wife has to do with it. Wish him all the best as I would with anyone else in that situation but I can't pretend to have any affinity with him.

For ****'s sake it's just a figure of speech.

Marine Boy you are the most easily pleased fan in the universe. You don't care what league we are in (if we are in the Ryman League it will be 'our level'), what the results are, whether we play entertaining football or not, who the manager is.........of course we should not take the fortunes of a football club too seriously, but if you don't invest any emotion into supporting, what's the point?

thanks mate, I like to think I am easily pleased. It's a good trait......no?
<cheers>

Not sure on what ground we should not be depressed football wise.

We are down, Chelsea won the title, we racked up £200 of debts, have (few) quality players who flourish the minute they play for another team (adel, mutch, puncheon...), fighting with a car dealer over a new ground.

The light at the end of the tunnel is hoping to see a young enthusiastic team and enjoy the best football atmosphere i have ever experienced. Thank you all fellow QPR fans.
