Give the lad a break. He got it in the neck for deleting a thread and now because he has a life away from not 606 some are on his back.

Take it on the chin. Some of our fans did it to the Mackem's when Bent left.

To the Mackem's all I have to say 35 million for a so called Championship player.

Bent went very cheap.

Be honest mate, £35million plus is a STAGGERING deal.

You have to sell for that, you simply have to take that deal.

As much as i rate Carroll, he's a target man striker, no target man striker is worth that much.

In the same we we coped with Bent, thats a massive carrott, but it does depend if butguster boy is gonna put the money back into the team

course we're talking about carroll, there's nowt happened in sunderland today. well, da silva left (who?? exactly), and the manager of the sunderland branch of greggs topped himself after hearing andy pandy had defected to the west coast, but otherwise, it's pretty serene down here.


don't worry though lads, at least when the chips are down, you can be safe in the knowledge that we'll be kind and understanding with your plight, just like you were with ours a fortnight ago....

We get it all the time mate, it's part and parcel of supporting our clubs.

Getting threads removed is pathetic, surely you can see that?
 
Bruceysbeak no way could Ashley say no to 35 million. I wait to see what he does with the money.

Pardon me for being cynical, but anyone saying we should get behind receiving 35 million because we'll buy 2 or 3 lads with it, clearly don't know Ashley well enough. We'll never see that money on the pitch! I'd say because the window's about to close, but really because he's a profit hungry prick with no apparent interest whether we finish 7th or 17th.
 
to be honest, this particular transfer deal is absolutely fascinating for a neutral, especially one who gets the relationship between newcastle fans and their number nines.


for the record, i think there's a good chance you will be able to look back on this deal and see it as good for newcastle, but i also understand that not a single one of you will want to acknowledge that at the moment.
 
This is the big thing for you lads, you know it won't all go back into the team, but a large chunk HAS to.

Remember, your form has been no worse without Carroll than with him this season.

like i've said all day if pardew gets every penny to spend on the squad then get in but this is Ashley we're talking about and tbh not much time left to buy any replacement so the price is right just everything else is ****ered


no i don't want him to go but if we get every penny to spend on the team i'm realistic enough to know this will be good for us in the long run just don't have any confidence in Ashley handing that amount over plus if we sign no one till summer will pardew get say 37m (guess) Carroll money plus whatever he was going to get in the summer .....i very much doubt it
