The Goons must be recovering their monies with the Prem monies, Rollercoaster ( Admit, I haven't done the sums). What's to stop them asset stripping the company ie taking this season's Prem money and the parachute payment when we go down next season, and leaving the club a shell with big debts?
Pretty much nothing. In that scenario it is a case of how they want to dispose of the club when they've finished. If they want to sell for serious money they can't strip it completely. I don't know if there is any mechanism in place to stop them stripping out everything, selling the ground and winding up the club.
Don't think they'd wind up the club but they might suck out the monies from the journey to and from the Prem, and leave the club as they found it. Hard to read the Goons, except that everything they do is nothing less than 100% profit-motivated.

As you live in Sheffield WBA you nothing of the financial motivations and dealings of international jet-setters such as Bernie. Whereas us more sophisticated folks who still reside down South clearly have our finger on the pulse and the inside track to all the board room dealings. How dare you suggest otherwise! The money they would make from trousering the Prem cash and selling the family silver is a drop in the ocean to their combined finances - probably just enough to buy Bernie's girl another house - so can't see them doing that. Giving year 1 in the prem a go on a modest budget and seeing what Neil and the boys are really made of ? Shrewd business if they're in it for the medium to long term.
It might be just a rumour, but I have hard on the grapevine that the two reasons why transfer funds are a bit tiny is because Flav is going for liposuction and Bernie going for Botox. very pricey treament for both!!

Agreed. Lines of communication with the fans have been awful - they should be able to get something out even if it has been heavily sanitised.
The Goons have even less respect for the fans than they have for the club - why would they waste a moment of their precious time sanctioning an update to the fans? As far as Eccles is concerned, we are just customers and if we don't like it, we can fog off, and someone else will take our seat in the stadium...
Love them or hate them you cant deny that their winners,so to asset strip and leave us relegated with no assets just for the sake of making money doesnt make sense. Im just hoping that the Mittals give them an offer they cant refuse, then we can get rid of these two jokers.
