I'd just like to point out that it's nice to have such a wealth of strikers to pick from, many of them in good form and exciting. It's just a shame about the CM, a position we've had some of the best in the world in during my lifetime and now it's a worry for me.
You've misunderstood me. I think Sturridge is a good player. Skilful, good finisher. I don't think he's particularly conducive to team play. My 4 for the Euro's would be Rooney, Kane, Carroll, Vardy. None of this taking Welbeck and Walcott as strikers then playing them in midfield. He is an unbelievable bellend but that doesn't change my perspective on his ability. I like him as a footballer too. He's the same as Sturridge fitness wise but when he's on form he's unplayable. Bastard!
The big question for me ahead of the Euro's is...is it possible to fit Kane, Vardy, Rooney and Alli into one team? Without shoe -hhorning people into positions where they're useless.
That worries me more! I quite liked the look of Delph in there for England but he's disappeared, Milner didn't do a very good job nor did Drinkwater, it's almost certainly going to be Henderson and Dier starting in there, which doesn't fill me with confidence. There's nobody else. I'd take Ward-Prowse but what do I know?
Vardy won't start, not a chance, unless Rooney is injured. I think Woy has shown his hand, Vardy's gonna be an impact sub. Rooney and Alli will hopefully be playing behind Kane, we don't need wingers/wide men because our fullbacks are attack minded.
