You are talking complete garbage as usual <ok>

The 2 goals against Forest were from open play as were the goals we scored against Wigan, Derby, Rotherham and Brighton so please get your facts right before you mouth off you cretin! You know nothing about us so stop spouting all this anti football nonsense. You're hardly Barcelonaesque yourselves!

One swallow does not a summer make

You need to calm down. Everyone knows Mick McCarthy's style. You're only kidding yourself. And frankly, it's why you're doing well, because it works. So you might as well embrace it. If you enjoy it, all the better from your pov. I'm not saying you can't be proud of your team - you can because they've done seriously well with limited resources. And doubtless you'll tell me I'm patronising and you'll get more apoplectic, but those are the facts. And as I said, I'm happy because I saw your match against us and at that moment I thought you were genuinely going to League 1. And that mean a serious danger of no derby matches for a long time.

Our style is irrelevant. We were discussing Ipswich.

C.nt? Is that esperanto?

I'm just off the back of a three-day stag triathlon around Norfolk and the mean streets of Norwich, so don't expect miracles.

Oh, <ok>

<doh>

I mean anti-football in the same way most of the world sees it - hoofball. I don't care only about how many chances are created - that's the Allardyce percentages style of tactics. That's why it works. Big threat at set pieces with a tall team, high energy and motivation, safety first long balls and well organised defensively.

But when your biggest threat is set pieces, and your second highest scorer is a CB, you can't try to pretend you're anything else. I've seen enough of the highlights, watched your televised matches last year and this and I know MM well enough to know his style. You can't change your stars.

But what I don't understand is why you're even arguing about it. Everyone knows that's what MM does. And it works, very well. Look at how your team is doing with the resources available. You can't deny it, but if you're happy with it then great. No complaints. As I said, it's the thing keeping you afloat and so can only be a good thing IMO

Christ if we are judging by highlights for the last 2 seasons we could be forgiven that Norwich city can only afford one set of goals and they change ends at halftime!

Rob, I agree we rely on set pieces but what you forget is you have to do something to win those set pieces in the first place, and to have a short passing game you must by default have a long passing game. its called ying and yang.
