It's a moot point anyway. No cùnt is gonne sit through a film countless times unless it's a film they like so ye all the films I've listed are among my favourite films.
That's why I've only seen Star wars about 4 times. It's not on my fav list.

lol, and Serenity isn't? It also has a massive plot-hole with the explanation of the origin of the reavers, and a happy happy cliched ending.

The Rock with Sean Connery and Nic Cage is probably the film I've watched the most. I'm a huge lover of just pure action movies with occasional comical lines and that one smashes it out the park for those, I don't need a huge or in depth story, albeit I do appreciate a good one every now and then.
In general, most of the action movies between the 80s and 90s are ones I could always watch again and never get bored of.
Basically anything involving the prime years of Arnie, Sly, JCVD, Seagal etc. Don’t feel like they make films like that any more too, John Wick’s probably the closest modern one to them that I like.

Dune (original, but it'll probably switch to the new one when the 2nd part gets finished)

Most of my go to's have been mentioned already;
Jaws, Gladiator, Usual Suspects, Goodellas, Fargo, Stand by Me, Se7en, Saving Private Ryan, are all films I'll just watch if they happen to be on TV or something.
Add to that A Simple Plan, Reservoir Dogs, The Way of the Gun, Road to Perdition and Mystic River.
There's a few others I've watched a good few times as well, which can hardly be deemed classics; Taken, Bourne Supremacy, Skyfall are all films I'll watch again if they happen to be on.
And at Christmas, Trading Places and Gremlins.

Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone are two that I have watched over 10 times each.
Baby Driver although not that old a film I will watch as much as possible. All three are terrific films. Tres 9s imho.

The mass emigration to Miranda that even the crew remembers happening. Over 30,000,000 people, all with friends and family, just disappearing and no one giving a **** about it, then the reavers suddenly appear at the same time and no one thinks 'hmm'. Their unexplained immunity to radiation, the fact that 0.1% of the population of Miranda turned into raging psychopaths, yet the crew mention, more than once, that there's no sign of violence on Miranda, "it's like they just gave up living". It's totally contradictory, like no one bothered to read the script properly.
And yet the scientist who left the log on Miranda which is a big part of the "verse" is seen to be attacked and killed by some of the 0.1% of the population that goes tonto! They also find evidence of other violent deaths on Miranda despite the fact that 99.9% just laid down and died. You probably went for another bag of crisps when that happened and missed it though.
Nearly bought the book the other day as it goes, but bought Darkness, Take my Hand instead.
That's an earlier one featuring the same two detectives, right?
