    Claim the moral high ground
    Definition

"to say that you are morally better than someone else"
    http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/claim-the-moral-high-ground

Come on Nev, where did I claim the moral high ground?

Did I infer (or suggest in any way) that only Rangers fans do such things? Did I infer that Celtic fans would never act in such a manner?

You really do need to stop saying things that make it so easy for me to show you are wrong. <ok>

Trevor as usual you are partially right, a man was questioned over racial abuse towards people "loosely described as footballers". It is not known whether he is a Celtic fan or not, he denies the charge and so far under Scot's law a man is innocent until proven guilty.
However Trevor there is no doubt in your case you are a raving loony bigoted person who prefers to spend your time passing your time, making totally unfounded
biased statements on a Celtic forum, rather than helping your badly distressed Rangers club that needs all the support it can muster. Antagonizing the decent Celtic
support is not in your interest, Trevor boy, you may need the help of Celtic fans sooner than later.
