I always thought ricroc's source was DJ? I think there's a world of difference between posting genuine insider knowledge/rumours and some of the threads we've seen recently which rapidly descend into a 7-page discussion on the merits of the messenger. Why not post "Defoe, yes or no?", rather than dress the whole thing up in a load of non-existent intrigue, "done deals" and such like nonsense? Genuine ITK'ers or people posting stuff they've heard or read to provoke debate? Desperate attention seekers?

My favourite was free seat pete. Hed post a done deal, then it would happen. Hed then say it was a done deal at the time and things change in football. Now work that out if you can. If you post things as fact then you are an attention seeking WUM. If you post what you heard then it will be taken as such. EG were scouting Defoe is ok but you must expect a backlash if you say were signing him and it doesnt happen.
