He was the one bright spot on Saturday.
And also why brb's 7 - 0 prediction will see him back at the bottom of the table.

grumpygit as everyone knows, I'll be more than happy to eat humble pie, if and when the players prove me wrong. That's what I want them to do.

But Glen summed it up for me in the next video, why are we not playing Trae Coyle - I'm thinking alongside Graham with the delivery, surely this is no brainer. It's what I accuse every football manager of every season, favourite players. We talk about player availibility quite often, but we have the players, how many more strikers/forwards do we need. Our entire back four could make a better job at the striker position. Johnson listed three positions he can play in, Mr Evans needs to start thinking outside the box. If Jackson can't get back, put someone else at the back, another forward option. Most the answers are normally staring in the face, but we are too blind to see them.

It goes back to what I keep saying, play people in their positions.
Why do we have Ogilvie, Jackson, O'Conner all pushing forward leaving our goal exposed.
The strikers are crap, so we need to get our defense right, let the midfield protect our defensive line and break up opposition attacks, that will then mean our defenders are in position to stop the crosses and defend the goal.
Then if the strikers can't score offload and replace. we might actually stand a chance of winning.

Last season Ogivile pushed up, made major impact and was easily player of season because of it

I suppose I would look at the question another way, and in the way that the three in bold as you say, 'all pushing forward' which rewinds to my original 'how many strikers do we need.'

What do I mean.... @alwaysright has written many word about O'gilvie over the course of time. If someone said to me name past Gills defenders (i've bolded the magic word), you'd be thinking many a name but I'd never put those three in there. Like I've been saying all season, our team is farse about face. Hope you liked my play on words there ;)

We won't be looking back on them in the same light that we do Fuller.....I even remember Frampton & Co, he'd feature before any of those three.

Hooray, gioblues you're on my wave length re O'gilvie <applause>

I understand what you're saying brb, but with the exception of Fuller, I don't remember Frampton running up and down the wing trying to put in crosses.
Our current defenders are clearly doing what SE is asking for, so for me SE is at fault for getting the tactics wrong.

Exactly my point, our defenders are not defenders. You are right about the tactics.

Eccles, Robinson, and now Drysdale, rats and ship spring too mind.
Robertson is because of the farce going on at Celtic at the moment where they've got 13 players missing through Covid. How can anyone sanction a mid season break to Dubai in the middle of a pandemic is absolutely mind-blowingly stupid. I get it's cold in Scotland but why put the lives of your staff at risk of such a deadly virus by doing something as ridiculous as that?
