I hope I am wrong but the way it is going I can see them winning their next 6 games too. They seemed to have forgotten how to lose and with that sort of luck and ruthless efficiency with so few chances + this GK the next few months could be uncomfortable...

I hope you are wrong too. But I'm not basing my prediction on mere hope but on their true performances - luck only takes you so far and the old certainties about united are now mere folklore

Was he trying to get your business? ;)

We are the better team and yet lose 3-0 and at no stage believing we could get anything from this match? In that case I want to be a crap team and win 3-0 all the time...:bandit:

Read some interesting thoughts earlier (which mirror my own) about what Rodgers should do for the rest of the season

I believe we're around 7-10 points from top 4 (I've not even looked at the table since the Spurs game). That gap is extremely large and the chances of making that up will be very difficult. So we should use this opportunity to play the youngsters more often (Moreno, Manquillo etc) and allow them to develop and get important game time.

The squad is relatively young but full of a lot of potential and we should be looking at the long term.

Players like Skrtel, Kolo, Lovren Gerrard, Lucas won't be here much longer. So why persist with them?

The problem is that Rodgers is essentially playing for his job so he will continue with the seniors because he needs short term results. Perhaps FSG should tell him that his job will be safe for 1 year if he invests playing time in the youngsters.

The only deluded ones are those who call us poor.

We are by no means amazing, but no poor side wins 6 in a row.

We have a midfield (which has not played out last 2 games) that is more than capable of 65% possession ot better. So it wont last.

Nor will our defensive injuries. When we field our best side plus the obvious transfers we will make, good luck everyone else.

Which part of de gea making incredible saves over and over is lucky?

Which part of a ruthless striker scoring almost every chance he gets is lucky?

Sorry but luck doesnt come into it.

  20. A keeper can only have a good game if the opposition give him opportunity!

De Gea was the MOTM IMO but had we had decent strikers it could have been very different. We should have been 1-0 about thirty seconds before they got their first. The second was as offside as the come and we had at least half a dozen clear cut chances that we didn't take.

Man Utd were lucky in that we didn't punish them!
