It's amazing how United fans genuinely think they're playing great football because they've won games.

They've been awful but clinical. When Liverpool won 2 games on the bounce recently, I was still critical of the performances.

Happy for them to w*nk over the results but laughable when they talk about their performances.

I don't think many believe we're playing great football but I am encouraged by the results and the progress the team has made since the start of the season. The starting XI yesterday didn't include any if the summer signings as all bar Herrera and the still unfit Falcao were unavailable. We would have lost the game if Moyes had been in charge.

6 wins in a row can't all be down to luck. The team are showing a determination and spirit that has been missing for too long. When you've got Ashley Young doing well at left back/wing back you have to start believing that the manager is doing a few things right.

Or...wins = confidence, better spirit, more teamwork = better performances
Or...wins = more points = easier to attract better players = better performances

    course you should be encouraged.

course you might have lost... though it was next to impossible to do so.

Course its not all down to luck... you've had a bit mind... but no it's down to good finishing, hard work round the park and a great keeping display... but you are making some god awful passes out there that you cannot be making.

not talking about wins... LFC are not in this conversation. its about utd and utd fans getting ahead of themselves

utd fans will get thiers if they run off thinking they are up for something this soon.

and its not really even wins.. wins are a symptom of the underlying work done by their manager. team work and spirit are whats demanded. best of luck to them doing thier thing. they can handily take 3rd this season due to the utter dross served up eslewhere (not even us) and they would merit it butbeing better than the others.

examples = utd's defense is better than arsenal's despirte having load of injuries... why... manager? team work?

We were unlucky under Moyes but are lucky under LVG (except for the injuries). Funny how that works.

oh and i have no idea who more wins can equal easier to attract players when utd paid massive wages and its not a transfer window yet. their 6 wins has nothing to do with just singings cos if that were true moyes work would have ruined them forever.

Just as rodgers run won't ruin lfc forever.. small wages will.

no you weren't you got what you deserved (and senior players did a lot of the damage) its not like we didn't see drogba and terry and lampard do for a few chelsea managers too... if a senior player doesn't want to give thier all they can cause mayhem

this year RvP and rooney are doing better... RvP hated moyes... Van gaal can say he's **** and get away with it and rvp responds! simply that.

Nothing to do with LFC. Was saying that they may not get their comeuppances if the wins do lead to better performances.

title talk prematurely <whistle> they could lose thier next away game.. who knows.

I bet i could find a fair new online mancs saying they'll win the fa cup and all.

when they spend 150-200mil next summer thay can rightly give it large but the good thing is there's always another game to F up.

We're not in the title race. I don't think we need to spend 150million. Maybe 100million.<whistle>

You are a very poor side at the moment. On just chances created alone, a very poor Liverpool side should have buried you yet again on your own midden. Southampton, who are in the middle of their own mini-crisis played you off the park and United are yet to truly put together a convincing performance this season. This little mini run will cease and United will return to the middle of the table again. Just wait and see.

Wrong as usual. You were crap under Moyes and only slightly better under Van Gal

Utd are doing what we did last season. Clinical up front, awful in defence and soft in the middle......Unless they invest in some defenders and midfielders they won't challenge either City or Chelsea.

I think they'll buy the right caliber of player tbh (I'm afraid). LVG knows what he's doing.....unfortunately. Still, at least 2 years before they're back to the top 2 imo. In the end, money always talks.

Don't want players injured but it;s the only way Johnson won't play, and for that I'm grateful. <ok>
