Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has described Swanseaâs promotion to the English Premier League as an âinteresting twistâ.
The Welsh side will become the first side from outside England to play in the Premiership after securing promotion via the play-offs.
And Lawwell, who has been a strong advocate of the Hoops leaving the SPL to compete south of the border, said: âItâs now the English and Welsh Premier League and thatâs an interesting twist.
âWe have a responsibility to maximise the potential of our club and will look at anything which allows us to do that.â
The Celtic/rangers joining the EPL story again.
Swansea worked their way up the English League Divisions to get into the EPL.
Seriously can we not just bribe The Conference League North to let us in and aim for successive promotions and be in the the EPL at the end of the next 6/7 years.
Hail! Hail!
