I think the Toon not606 board could actually self-combust if this were to happen. It would be hilarious to read their comments. Also, as said above, he would be so much better than Kranjaar!

If you look at it another way:
Remember Les Ferdinand? he left us and we went down?
Sinclair to West Ham for £1 and those 3 crap players?
    Stirling to Liverpool?
And the others who opted for someone else..... So i don't care if we take the next 10 Newcastle targets because its been happening to us for years.

Spot on, when it's a Northern club doing to a Southern club there isn't a peep, yet when the roles are reversed its unfair because the Northern club has so much "passion", "prestige" etc. at current QPR are in better form than Newcastle and are only 5(?) points behind them so the decision wouldn't be as illogical as it would have been 12 months or even 12 days ago.

When Liverpool were ransacking clubs left, right and centre in the 80s nobody batted an eyelid

French press are all claiming Sissoko has rejected QPR and is due in Newcastle today for his medical.

Looks as though Football has beaten cash this time gents.

Bold, considering your current predicament. Not an easy run of games you have either.

we have 15 games left that's enough for me, although I strongly believe QPR and unfortunately Wigan are pretty much gone... we just have to do better than Reading and Villa and considering the talent expected to be coming in I'm confident that will happen.

No such thing I'm afraid captain, he will play the same whether he's with you or us. And he will win exactly the same whatever club he chooses, precisely f**k all. The only clubs a player can join in this country for reasons of football and ambition are the 2 Manchester clubs. The rest of us are all splashing around in the same puddle. Only a couple of years ago you were in the 2nd tier remember? Big club my arse!!

Unlikely you'll go down but the day West Ham went down with (42 points) Joe Cole, Glen Johnson Paolo Di Canio, Trevor Sinclair, Michael Carrick, Freddie Kanoute, Les Ferdinand, Lee Bowyer etc was the day I stopped making definitive predictions on who will go down and who won't.

QPR's improvement means they still have a great chance of staying up. If they manage to do so then it's a chance of playing in London alongside high quality players, for a decent and charismatic manager under good wages. Newcastle is also a fantastic city with a great nightlife but many overseas players prefer living in the London suburbs/home counties where they can go about their life more privately than say... Newcastle where everybody knows you and your constantly in the limelight.

If Newcastle fail to beat Villa, with Chelsea at home and Spurs away around the corner it becomes difficult.

Villa look doomed, we can get out of it and Reading are showing signs of life. Wigan always manage a way to escape so I go for Villa and two of Fulham, Reading, Newcastle, us and (fingers crossed) Norwich.

My personal view is that Villa are goners, as are Reading. I feel Southampton and Newcastle will be alright. The last spot will be fought between Fulham, QPR and Wigan.

Fulham may be 10 points clear of QPR but show no signs of picking up points. Fulham pretty much don't compete away from home and their remaining home games are against:

    West Ham
    Man Utd
    Stoke
    Chelsea
    QPR
    Arsenal
    Reading
    Liverpool

I can't see them getting the 4 wins required out of those. QPR have no what I'd call "write off" games. They are capable of taking points in all their games.

If I had to put my money in it now though, I'd say Wigan, Villa and Reading to go.

Someone always drops down from midtable, there will be at least one, possibly 2 unforeseen teams, think villa last year who would have gone down if the season was 2 weeks longer.
