But now with 30 mins to go, Southamton, Reading and Wigan are still maintaining their leads. Only hope Stoke, West Ham & Villa improve (draw would be nice). See Wigan (the great relgation escape artists) just went 2-0 up.

If these results stand, we are really getting stranded at the bottom and definitely need a win tomorrow.

i think Villa are looking like they are down, 8-0, 4-0 and now 3-0 down against Wigan.

It should be us, Reading and villa on current form.

At least Villa getting sucked in. 0-15 in the last three games won't do wonders for their young squads psyche.

I do understand your point i am just saying that we need to win our games because the Readings/Wigans/Saints won't lose every week.
As i said you win your games and let the others worry.

We will only really know who the three or so other teams we are trying to outdo are when it gets much later.

The three above us win then someone else gets drawn in (eg Villa or Sunderland maybe).

Our results and trying to get points on the board to be in with a shout of getting 38-40 points by the end of the season are all that matter at this stage IMO.

But they still have 18 pts on the board - right now that seems like a massive gap compared to us on 10 pts. All we can do is start winning games. A repeat of that 5 game home win streak last season would be nice.

Teams do get sucked in, West Ham are lucky to still be in it at Reading, they are beginning to slip as are Fulham. We MUST start winning...

Absolutely bang on, Flyer. If you ignore the Swansea home result as an aberration, most of the Rs games this season have been narrow affairs goals-wise (biggest defeats have been by 2 goals, so no tonkings I think), so how many of those could've been even narrower had we had more bodies in the box?

Yeah I saw that as well....he must be the first man on the list to come back....he supports QPR and is on scoring form....we need him no doubt.

The players we get in Jan will make or break us....we shall see.

8 point gap and we have only got 10 all season.....yikes.

We would have been at least 10 points better off if we werent so negative. Saints caused panic in stokes 6 yard box resulting in 3 mistakes, an OG, a ball kicked onto his own bar and then tapped in and a cross that should have been cleared.

Ridiculous when we are so short of striker options having a player like DJ, who demonstrated at Blackpool that he can score goals in the Premier League, out on loan at Ipswich, scoring goals, as does Helguson at Cardiff.

Hughes is still doing damage every day. We all knew it was insane to go with 3 over 30 forwards, 1 red card prone, 1 injury prone and another whos an attacking version of Dyer!
I dont think any of us wanted HH sold either. Still Hughes is happy as Im sure he got something out of bringing in those players via agents.

Hard to believe after that fighting 3-1 win at Liverpool when Benteke had such a great game.

Get in!, Stoke equalise with 10 men 30 secs from time and what a goal too.

7 mins of injury time too.
