Top work Ste for running the comp, its been very enjoyable seeing the predictions come in, or not in my case. Just shows how hard it is and yet the crookies love it when your trying to predict a two horse race with extras added...!!! Anyway here's my final picks... Brazil v Holland, 1-3 Final... Argentina v Germany, 2-1... Well done to all who played, and good luck...
I was very impressed by Argentina's defence against Holland. For this reason I can't see Germany getting more than 1 goal. Germany played brilliantly against Brazil but Brazil have no defence. This will be a different kettle of fish for them. Also I'm not sure that Germany have had to cope with the strike power of Argentina so, gain a different kettle of fish this time. I think that Germany will be messimerised and I'm sticking with my 2-1 Argentina prediction

Agree...glad they won..lesser of two evils!..smashing finish for the winner and glad it didn't go to pens. Good game for a nil nil and could have went either way tbh...not sure there was an outstanding side this cycle as the Argies could have easily won and they aren't much cop especially with Di Maria out for the final and semi and Aguero only half cocked. Thomas Mullers mobile face reminds me of a lava lamp I had as a student..
Doubt if it bothers him too much at the moment. Also, his missus is a collector of oriental lamps, which would have to include him of course? Eerie quietness down here at the moment; the calm after the storm? Well done to Germany though, had a bit of luck on the way which is always needed in this thing, but a hell of an achievement to win the whole thing in South America.
