For the simple fact that Dickinson really hasn't been that good this season.

He has been better than Doyley was last season. Doyley never was a left back, he was just the next best thing. I think the problem has actually been yeates. He often finds himself too central and the winger and lb have passed him and are double teaming Dicko. If we can keep the shape i think Dickinson will shine. No player will look great when he has two on one.

I didn't think WFC fans were that perceptive Dan!

Scott Severin was the classic case in that regard - in his first game for us against Donny he had the misfortune to have two players around him (Doyley and Jenkins) who were both having nightmare games & he spent the match trying to cover for them. And boy was he slated for it - I couldn't believe what I was hearing directed at him from those around me in the Rookery. :(

Well as i sit on the left hand side of the stand, right in line with the touchline, I can see this very easily. Its not hard to notice 5/6 yards of wide open space when we have been caught out a few times. Surely Yeates must notice this. I dont like criticising Dicko when he has done a decent job in a position where before we have been lacking.

I've got to say that in the two games I have seen Nosworthy play, he has been very solid and dependable and I further think that his presence is calming the other back 3. Anyone disagree?

Nope, i think we've all been pleasantly suprised, given the pre-amble. He's a welcome addition to the team.

Alright boys & my friend Hornette?

    Mackem in peace.

Nos is a legend at Sunderland, an icon.

To be fair to the lad he has served our club well & is a decent CB TBH.

Mind you, when he tries to dribble the ball out of defense he has hearts in mouths. You would here people scream, "just ****ing hit it Nuggsy".

He's on a very good contract here & has just sat on it IMO.

Alledgedly £35'000 a week although I've not seen his payslip.

    Good luck for the weekend.

From what I can find, we are still paying his wages but you have paid us a fee for the loan.

****ing wierd how things work these days.

I hope Nuggsy does well & actually signs as we could do with him off the wage bill tbh.
