Just thinking back with great longing to the glory-days of the fabled FatSam Newcastle midfield, the envy of Europe

Can't remember how many assists Smith and Butt piled up between them, but I'm pretty sure they doubled whatever meager stats Tiote and Barton and even Nolan have managed to scrape
 
I remember the only time they were ever above average was during the Second coming of Keegan

Keegan </3. I would compare the squad he had towards the end of that season to the one we had before we sold Carroll and had just signed Ben Arfa.
