Yeah, Beddy took a clunk to the head just before half time, so suspect it was a precautionary move.

Had to watch the Norwich stream, that was an experience, think it was Danny Kelly and Chris Iwelumu, besides screaming with delight every time Norwich crossed the half way line, they saw nothing wrong with the dreadful challenge on Edozie or any other of the nasty challenges and off ball incidents

Only thing about Russ i can criticise on atm is trying to shoe horn Stephens to accommodate our captain. If he is going to do this, just go to a back 3.

I would also liked to see Charly replace Stu at about 60 minutes as he was way off his best today

This one confused the commentators on the stream I was watching. I don’t think they realised we had 3 CB’s on the pitch.

One thing I noticed recently: we are absolutely **** at set pieces (and crosses). I no longer get remotely excited when we get a corner, free kick or someone puts a cross in.

I have to completely disagree. Set pieces we are inventive - we mix it up whether we cross it to the front or back post. I like the short corner routine where we have 3 on one situations regularly. We created a chance today when Bednarek pulled away to the back post and had 2 shots on goal.

I agree with all of that except calling Ipswich's run of form a freak. They moved into the top two after five games and have been there ever since except briefly 3rd on goal difference. Although no wins in their last five, a predicted collapse isn't necessarily going to happen. After half a season in the auto positions they must be pretty decent.

I see it as an almost 140 year record, as long as the club's history.

I didn't mean it was freakish in that it was flukey. Rather that it was almost unheard of to be as good as they were for as long as they were, especially as a newly promoted side.

I don't think they'll collopse as such. But as the season goes on i think their lack of depth will be exposed and it'll end up with us and Leeds fighting for 2nd.

The commentary team were so poor that they couldn’t identify players from either team with any degree of accuracy.
At one point the commentator blabbered on about something that involved “Manning, or it might have been Bednarek” when the player involved was actually Joe Aribo.
I mean, they don’t even have the same hairstyles, so how could he get it so wrong? :emoticon-0105-wink:

I had Saints play on my FSL stream, I was scratching my head when the commentators were fooled by the broken stadium clock
