I have not been in the Wager out camp, but something has got to give, and it is more than likely his arse that going to get served up. While the loss of both our main strikers is not his fault, I can't see him turning it around unless he can fix the defence
We’ve lost the game on piss poor decision making from experienced players. In the first few games of the season Duffy was throwing himself into challenges, now he stands off and let’s people shoot from the edge of the box
Too true. But our sloppy play was the real culprit. The only bright sparks were Rowe and Sainz, who was really positive and made a difference after coming on. Placheta also did well. Rowe MotM. Down to 14th now.
Duffy needs to be dropped for me, I’ve not liked what I’ve seen from him over the last run of games. Perhaps it’s because he’s not used to such a wrong spell? Can Batth play RCB, if not Warner looked more than capable in the cup. The midfield isn’t working, too often we get caught with both midfielders ahead of the ball, Forshaw needs to come in to play alongside McLean and move Sara forward - multiple times he has taken in a long range shot, when it’s not on, which has been blocked and the opposition have had a **** on goal from it. Finally Sainz in for Hernandez - he’s almost trying too hard and nothing is coming off. Wouldn’t mind Placheta if Sainz isn’t fit enough to start
I agree they didn’t decide the game but some awful calls went against us seemingly everytime, corners that we should have had, foils that weren’t etc. I thought Idah was doing well, shouldn’t have taken him off.
