"People shouldn't read my posts as expressions of my opinion; they are invitations to produce reasons for or against the subject opinion, whatever it is" I thought this was a a football forum and not a debating society. . Plenty more I could say, but as this is the season of goodwill I will refrain from doing so and wish you a happy new year. .
Not sure, I presume the fact that came out in a pre-match press conference would be a sign the game is still on? I don't think the EFL have further tests scheduled until 4th January, so I don't think they'll catch any spread within the squad until after the game (which might be a concern).
No doubts about naming two goalkeepers tomorrow, so presumably Krul on the bench if not fit to start. Nobody else available is there?
[ assume McCracken is available If Krull is not 100% fit take no chances. He is too important to the rest of the season. The odds on the sub goalie being needed surely are low enough for us to include McCracken on the bench. We are unlikely to have a Dave Stringer or Cody McDonald event. I know we have had two keeper substitutions in recent weeks, but they are very rare events.
Given McGovern's injury and our problems about FBs so far, including the rumours about Max, I hope this is just lowering expectations just in case: "Daniel Farke says they won't dip into the transfer market just to make up numbers. "Expect some business if it is possible"." Meanwhile, the news that Placheta may be on the bench tomorrow is very welcome indeed.
The irony of smileys. Introduced to increase transparency -- only to broaden the scope for opacity! (PS I've previously searched in vain for a "Wink" smiley, but never found it. So )
