At the presser, DF mentioned Hangley, Amadou and Tettey as CB/makeshift CB options but nothing was said about playing Lewis at LB and Byram at CB?
No indication that Sam has ever played at CB, but either he or Lewis might work in a 3-4-3 formation with WBs providing the width. DF experimented with that in the summer and it's the same formation Wolves use.

I"m not sure "up to speed" is quite the right choice of words when talking about GH! Personally I would have preferred to see a more mobile player in for Godfrey, even if it meant a part-time CB, e.g. Lewis or Amadou.Hope Hamley gets up to speed tout suite
