Important game after such a good performance. Can we do it again and take 3 points this time? Wolves will make it tough but we need to start picking up points now that most of the players are fit again. Same sort of line-up and tactics I hope.

I read that Pukki played the second half with a fractured toe . <yikes>

DF suggested that it's not that serious, perhaps sitting out a couple of days training but ok for Wolves.

Meanwhile, there's good news on Klose:

"At the beginning of my injury, we said I wouldn't be fit until the end of the season, but now we're looking at the beginning of March or even earlier."

Good news (not the broken toe, but rather the fact it’s not so bad).

What I’d like to see is this line up get a few good results under their belts - fix the starting XI for a bit and get some consistency.

I think for some games like the Southampton game sticking to our starting 11 has cost us. Cantwell for example looked tired in the Southampton game. I think when we have mid week games we need to rotate a bit.

There are also times where Hernandez's pace and Buendia's intermediate through balls are needed for counterattacks in away games. At home, the creative skills of Emi and Todd come into play.

True, but I’m relaxed about that - for me wingers are the first ones to rotate and the best way to change formation. We need a solid midfield and back four to play together for a decent stint. Sometimes a bit of consistency in the starting XI helps that though - which means keeping the wingers the same for a couple of matches and subbing them early if they’re tired.

Cantwell and Buendia are our two best wingers anyway. Ok they’re both up and down on form, but I think Hernandez is much more of an impact player.

The number of CB injuries we've had beggars belief. If Ben is out it's either Handley playing for the first time in months, or Amadou or Tettey moving from DM. The pace and trickery of Traore and Wolves' other attacking players will be a difficult challenge for whoever plays.
