Martin Peters!! Hell PGF how old are you? Don't feel the need to answer it's rhetorical..............<laugh>

Hell I'm back in time, 10 years old going on 11, and my team back then was West Ham, loved the three of Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, and Jeff Hurst, even had a subbuteo team of West Ham.........<cheers>

I've never actually spoken to anyone who was at the game so it's my pleasure to speak to you Taff. Perhaps you could do a little article about it and post it on here. You know we all love to hate the English but a real story of a boys trip to the World Cup Final would be a cracker :emoticon-0148-yes:

That pretty much sums up where we are now, not so long ago we were the "slick swans". Then Monk had put his habit over his eyes and couldn`t see what was happening. Come on Monk join Friar Tuck and the band of merry men.

No not me im worst than that...<ok> The point about Ayew unsettling the team has some merit. He oozes class and a bit too classy for most of our players. You can say the same about gomis as he is ahead of reading the game that is why he is having trouble receiving the ball. but When it does come together he scores........They will be gone at the end of the season anyway to better clubs that will suit them better...

Couldn't disagree more. He can't read the game hence he's offside all of the time or he's never charging into the box. The way he 'reads' the game, I wouldn't be surprised if he struggled to read a bloody book.
Bony oozed class and he fitted in perfectly. That's a striker who could read the game perfectly, i.e. Charge into the box at the perfect time, create sublime link up play with Gylfi, Ki etc and move into unmarked spaces, as well pas provide through balls for our wingers/midfielders to threaten opposition goals. Gomis is just running around like a bag of wind atm.

Don't agree, Gomis has more class than bony and where bony struggles at man city gomis would fit in perfectly....bony fits in with us because we are his level.....we should swap if it was not for the wages....

This is beyond ridicule , you honestly believe that statement ? Bony had his faults and he is struggling but to say Gomis is better and would fit in with them is something I'd love to see , I really would just not to have to watch him wearing a white shirt again .

I remember 1966 well I missed most of it because of my stay in hospital but got home in time to see the final. I'll tell all you youngsters and that's any one under 60 what my father said to me in his Gower diialect when I was a teenager. Boy theest think theest knows all but theest knows bugger all and as I got older I realised he was right. You can't beat experience for life knowledge.
