And they are all now in the team of the week. Must be a first, five from the same team and an alliterative first surely.

    Sørensen waiting for contract talks:

"No. No talks yet. I think we're going to see what happens in the next few weeks, and then I might knock on the door at some point and ask what's going on and what's going to happen. I don't know what the sporting director is planning in the summer but I think I'm going to have a chat and see what's up.

It's been difficult, especially when you have to have surgeries. You think after the first one that you are back on track, but then it's hard when you're not, and you need another one. It's been frustrating, but coming in every day to a professional environment with physios, sports science, and everyone has been really good with me. It's part of football. It's good (to be back). It's what you want as a footballer: you want to play and win games, and that's what we did today. It's always nice to score, especially when you're not used to it; I enjoyed that one. It's always nice to start games and I haven't played much this season. I'm eager to play some football."

I expect Sorensen needs to show he can play consistent games before we'll open contract talks. Hopefully he can kick on now he's fit. I imagine a decent few weeks and he'll get offers from elsewhere this summer. Another injury and he'll struggle.

I'd happily see him continue at CB, Hanley has looked pretty shakey to me since returning (understandable) and we know how much Wagner values a ball playing defender, which Lungi certainly can be and Hanley is not

We (nearly) all love Lungi for his reliability of for nothing else. As the adage on here goes, he never let's us down. Shame that he has had injury concerns regularly in the last few seasons. I do not believe we have actually seen him at his best yet, due to never getting a good run of games together ( apart from that run at LB a few seasons ago).
