Atrocious refereeing at the end there - how he cannot give any excess time in extra time for all the diving and rolling I don’t know

No posative improvement.
Poor game, poor display by us.
We are going nowhere playing like this
Cheer up Bure, far from our best performance of the season but we managed to pick up the point. Important not to lose to try to build a bit of momentum.

Their keeper also made several smart saves and a few individuals made some poor choices when presented with good chances

Frustrating game brightened up by Núñez's goal, but that was definitely 2 points lost. Like the fans I do get fed up with us passing the ball around in our own half when we're desperate for a goal.

Against Millwall I commented on our speed of movement and thought but today for a large part of the game we were ponderous to say the least. QPR never had a shot on target in the entire game, so some plaudits for our defensive effort, but Gunns distribution was woeful.

We managed 19 shots, but only 4 of those were on target.

Do you believe that this is a ‘Farke’ transition season? Sainz hasn’t scored for six matches now and we are struggling to score from other players.
I don’t think it needs to be anything to do with Farke but we have been through an unbelievable amount of changes this season from top to bottom. We still don’t have a recognised RW really.

In 2024 we have dealt with:
  1. Change in Ownership
  2. Change in Sporting director
  3. Change in Head coach
  4. Change in Assistant manager
  5. Change in First team coach
  6. Change in Set piece coach
  7. Change in GK coach
  8. Sold Sara our most influential player
  9. Sold Rowe our top young talent last year
  10. Completely different left side of defence
  11. Turnover of the squad moving towards younger players
  12. Heavy injury period particularly in midfield
  13. Without our best striker for half of the season so far
  14. Without our captain for 33% of our games due to bans
All While trying to implement a new playing style.

QPR were happy to sit in a low block whereas Millwall tried to press us with more intensity I think

Sainz cost us those two points. He had a simple pass to Hernandez for a tap in in the 74th minute, and chose not to make it. If we'd scored then, we'd have had at least 20 minutes to get another. Poor from Sainz, and not the first time this season he's failed to do what the situation demanded.

That was only 1 of myriad poor decisions throughout the game. Our possession focus once again wasted too much time passing the ball around deep in our own half. Their low block wasn't going to be drawn out by that. Crnac and Schwartau carried little threat so they could double or triple mark Sainz throughout and he allowed the frustration to get to him. We need Sargent back soon to worry defences and free up our play.
