Preston have looked shell-shocked, we’ve played some good stuff, but they’ve been really shaky. They are looking more solid now

There's nothing wrong with the selection, or with the formation; we should be 3:0 up -- but for ineptness on the part of some of our most experienced players.

These things happen. Now is when Smith needs to step up, get the players under control and focused on doing their job. Yes, we deserve to be ahead, but play the game ahead of you boys

 

And a youngster as well as Omobamidele failed to pick up Riis for their goal.

Ramsey needs to pick up these second balls in midfield, and start sticking a boot in, pulling out of too many challenges for me

 

There doesn’t seem to be any urgency in their play. Are they expecting to win every time? We have only scored more than two goals in 2 matches against Bristol C and Coventry. Three goals in 4 games so far……….

 

Not Hanley -- Krul, McLean, Aarons, Pukki too (and no, not the miss, poor ball control and giving the ball away).
