I wonder if the FA Cup match will be like the boxing match from Porridge when they are both trying to lose! Getting into the next round would be awful!
Match on Sky red button tonight. Also on ifollow, free to season ticket holders. Sky coverage is crap,1 camera and no replays. ifollow is better, with 4 cameras, replays and Radio Norfolk's unbiased commentry. I will watch it on Sky on the tv,and also on the lap top at the same time. Mrs Bb will be icing the Christmas cakes.
I could see Farke/Webber being strongly tempted by the idea of playing our U18s or similar in that game. We lose comfortably, maybe get a fine, but the schedule currently has us with a clear week before and after. It would create an opportunity to give the senior squad a winter break for a week, then have a full week of training before a return to leave action on the 16th. Might even have some reinforcements in the door by then too.
It might also provide some game time to those returning and any early new signings - players like Gibson, Placheta, Rupp, Byram and McLean as well as the young players on the fringe of the first team squad.
McLean Dowell Hugill and Cantwell back Omotoye and Omabidele promoted to the first team as their mates get dry humped by MK dons
Would be ideal if we could "win the game" by 60 mins and give the likes of Skipp, Pukki and Buendia a rest, and give Hugill, Dowell, Cantwell, McLean, etc a chance to shake off some rustiness. I suspect that's unlikely though.
You're probably right. With the U21's playing yesterday, there aren't many others he could put on the bench. I hope DF doesn't face any temptations.
Wish i i could stay up and follow the game but its 1am here and only 6 hrs away from another work day. Fingers crossed i wake up tomorrow and discover i have to do another MDT.
