The Norwich fans made fun of him for only having five fingers on each hand and because his parents aren’t blood-related.
It is only newsworthy because Baz went on about it. If it had been anything more there would be reports in the nationals and complaints from the club. You really want to stop being such a delicate little thing who hangs on Baz’s every single word. Most of what he spouts makes Fatty Fieldhouse seem like a top class journalist.
Kamara applauded the Norwich fans at the end of the match, which suggests to me that any upset was soon resolved. It’s a storm in a tea cup.
The world and what is considered acceptable behaviour is changing. I’m called to mind of that teacher who’s post went viral recently, for admonishing a kid who turned up late to school. It turned out his mum had died that morning and he didn’t know what to do with himself, so went to school anyway and got a bollocking for not being there earlier. You never know what’s going on in someone else’s life and on a day raising awareness for mental health where the clubs shirts have Samaritans on them, yes there is a huge dollop of irony.
Yes, that was my earlier point. We don't know enough of the specifics to have a strong opinion either way. I think Baz puts more meat on the bones in his post match YouTube upload, but it clearly wasn't just 'booing and singing what a waste of money" that was being referred to.
I have no idea what verbals were directed at him which is why I am asking you to enlighten us. Now you're bringing in a border line so you need to explain where that is too.
It all sounds overblown by a certain individual at the HDM who is wet as **** and a massive fanny. And some on here have joined in with Cooper’s outrage because our fanbase is a bit wet too, I’m afraid to say. Eaves and Honeyman got standing ovations when they played for Rotherham and Millwall at the MKM. Not saying we need to boo them but do we need to fawn over ex-players the way we do? It’s all very tinpot. We talk about the players being a bit soft and lacking that nastiness some teams have but I’d extend that to our home atmosphere as well.
I understand someone shouted that he was a cad, an absolute bounder for leaving them. Can understand Baz’s concern as that sort of thing could destroy someone’s mental health. Whatever we are paying him it is not enough to compensate for that.
It's not like Baz doesn't have previous for over egging bad behaviour at football games either. Just not our fans this time, for once. Still don't know how we all survived the "North Stand Grenade"
If I was to choose a gatekeeper for City fans’ matchday behaviour, you’d be a very long way down my list based on that manifesto. Clapping George Honeyman, hardly a crime is it?
Goes back a long way. Remember the not enough died chant claims against QPR. To be fair to QPR fans their fans group contacted some national papers to say it never happened. But still a female reporter repeated the claim weeks later.nFunny enough, and not surprising, her report on trouble on Princes Avenue after the biggest derby in the universe and everywhere else, which involved bottles being thrown and a glassing, was pulled by the Fail. Two tier reporting.
