    Rosenior’s a daft ****. Said before pre-season that the squad he had before any signings was good enough, said on TalkSport that we don’t need a defensive midfielder to play his special way of playing and then couldn’t keep his composure in the first game of the season and got sent off.

    It'll be interesting to see who if anyone comes in, and what positions, Coyle is workmanlike at best, Vinaegre looks so short of game time and rusty as fk, our midfield ain't gonna set the league alight and when ya banking on Traore and young Vaughan doing the wing duties we really are grasping at straws. On the plus side Delap looks a real.prospect, Jones had a great game and Ingram did well. Doesnt say much for the rest though.

    Coyle played well, everyone talks about his limitations for a possession side, we didn’t have any of the ball anyway, he defended brilliantly. Slater was garbage (I’ve never got the hype). Christie’s sub cameo was terrible as well

    Midfield was our problem ( pedestrian and no control) especially in the first half and put pressure on our defence. Rosie got that wrong - system wise or player choice playing round pegs in square holes. Tufan poor today also.

    Depends if he was offside when the original cross was played in. As maccas touch was unintentional it has no bearing on whether it was offside or not.

    No one was offside when the cross was made. I took a screenshot but it’s too large to upload. The goal scorer was about 3-4 yards onside.

    The problem with LR as I see it is, he cant keep his mouth shut, he has his favourites and even if they have a shocker they still play. It's his way or the highway and I for one need to be convinced that his way is the right way. I've said it before and I'll say it again no matter how pally Acun makes it look he'll have a sell by date. Over this weekend you will see teams streets ahead of us.

    Rosie learnt nothing from the game here last year, needs to change an approach if it doesn't work.

    This angle shows Macca getting pushed to the floor before the cross comes in and then the ball coming off him as he's getting back to his feet. That + the fact it was never a corner and we can feel pretty hard done by

    Agree with Slater being rubbish today, agree with Christie but I must have been wayching a different game regarding Coyle, he's a liability. Vinagre is well off pace in fact the only one who stood out was Delap, very poor from everyone else. I think we'll get done by the FA as well for failing to control our players or whatever it is for 5 yellow cards

    Edit: Jones was man of the match and Greaves did OK, he's better at left back as there's always a chance of him giving away a penalty with the way he grapples their forwards

    "A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately played* the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent.

    *‘Deliberate play’ (excluding deliberate handball) is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility of:
    • passing the ball to a team-mate;
    • gaining possession of the ball; or
    • clearing the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it)"

    Oh I don't know about that,a goal next Saturday and he'll be God's gift from above...

    A 20 minute cameo appearance hardly warrants the systematic abuse he's copped on here.
