I have explained once before. There anre some thin skinned folk in Hull and getting a bite is so easy. And I haven’t posted for a week, been badly, but twice last night my name was brought up on the Norwich thread by others. by others. Having said that I wish we could get average crowds of 25,000+ every season no matter how are doing. My Norwich acquaintance was paying £499 for a season pass on the lower tier behind the goal back in 2009 when they were in League One. Now 14 years later we have people saying our prices which are way lower are too much.
And a castle. And the largest preserved medieval are. And the most medieval churches north of Milan. And loads of visitors. Which is why they have 5 park and rides as the centre is busy with all the coaches dropping visitors off. Fortunately Hull doesn’t have that problem of loads of coaches dropping off visitors,
They have now brought in a manager who I think will turn things round. He has the players to do it, they They have 2 cathedrals. We have 2 rugby league clubs. I know which I would rather have.
No what? Our tactics were totally wrong last night, regardless of the players making the starting 11. You'll find I've been quite reserved in my expectations for this season, it doesn't make yesterday any less of a clusterfuck.
We would have to find space for 2 cathedrals. But is there space for two rugby league clubs in a small city like Norwich?
All that means is that they've been underachieving. It's pretty clear that when they do actually hit their straps they have the potential for autos.
Pretty sure a disgruntled QAnon types one of those up every week. Every time I see it, another load of actors or comedians appear on the list. Notice Jeffery Epstein's name isn't on it . Also, would Prince Charles sign his name on a flight log as Prince Charles? Wouldn't he sign it "HRH Charles Philip Arthur George of Wales"? Or John Smith?
Always interesting to see how other fans see our performance. I stayed in Norwich on Tuesday night with 2 Norwich friends who are season ticket holders there. We were discussing before the game how both teams like to play out from the back and how anxious both sets of fans get. After the game, they couldn't believe how little we pressed them relative to other sides who've done well there recently. Apart from doing very little with the ball on Tuesday, I'm afraid that Oscar and Tetteh did very little without it either. Oh and I'm with the guy who goes on about what a good model they are as a club. Crowds of 25,000 win lose or draw and truly a club who unite their community. I know they've got the whole of Norfolk to draw on but our catchment area is pretty big too, so be nice to think under Acun we could aspire to something similar.
