Think I remember seeing us play Norwich in a 1-1 in the PL under Bruce where good old Rob Snodgrass got stuck into our travelling fans when they equalised. Hated the bastard until he signed for us. <laugh>

I saw us win there in 1970/71, 2-0 with 10 ten men. It was the infamous Chris Chilton head butt game when he laid Duncan Forbes out, No free travel in those days and it took forever to get there, we got to the ground just before half time after the police held our one coach back somewhere South of Kings Lynn.

We were beasting him throughout the match for his Leeds connection, he gave a bit back - fairs fair, no big deal.

Yep remember the Leeds chants. Not saying there was any issue, just something that stuck in the memory.

i remember going to Norwich for an evening game and they allowed pay at the gate - that many city turned up we couldn't fit into the section and had to start pulling the netting up so we could fit in - shambles

Jay Jay played that night if we’re talking about the same match along with Windass & Dion Dublin for them,. Proper old man’s match.

Absolutely rammed & no free travel in those days.

If we come away with another point then I would be more than happy.

It's going to be a tough 24 hours, I have to get up at 3-30am tomorrow morning, drive 4 hours to the Cambodian border, go into Cambodia, then come back into Vietnam and drive 4 hours back to where I'm living (Visa reasons). Then get up at 2-30 am the next morning to watch the game. The things you do for the love of a club.

I think Norwich have a brutal distruction coming their way. Of the kind they dish out when they give their sister a 6 fingered fisting.

I'd play Tetteh, Oscar and Connolly. They won't know what's hit them.

Doubts about Connolly's fitness, he took a knock on Saturday, Tetteh needs bringing back carefully, he hasn't played much for a while with injury and suspension. I think we'll see a fairly cautious start, not unlike the Stoke game.

I think Teteh will be up to speed now... he was almost there before his suspension...

You'd hope so but it's that thing about fit and match-fit. We'll see.

If Tetteh ain't ready to start then he never will be. His first game back was Fulham wasn't it? Over 5 weeks ago.

If Tetteh has only got 45/60 minutes in him, id rather have the first 45/60 rather than the last.

    INGRAM
    CHRISTIE / JONES/ MCLOUGHLIN/ ELDER
    TUFAN/ SERI/ DOC
    CONOLLY/ OSCAR/ TETTEH

We now have excellent cover for substitutions. thats good substitutions LR...

But the question is whether his enforced absence has made him more or less ready. Obviously it's given him more time to get up to speed, but not playing any games might also mean he's not as sharp. Rosenior's comments about him sounds like he's cautious of the latter. Or maybe he's just playing him down to keep Norwich guessing.

Yes, I went to that game and remember us giving him plenty of stick.

I've just looked, he was out injured from early Sept until the Fulham game, I'd forgotten it was so long. He had 20 mins then, another 20 vs Hudders, then he started and got sent off against SU although he would have finished the game otherwise, then 3 games suspended. That's not a lot of football in five and half months!
